FOR THE GIRLS

If one were to peruse this blog's craft gallery, one might think that I have a gaggle of girls in my household.  I seem to be producing a plethora of flowery, pinky and purple-y trinkets these days, as though I have a number of daughter closets to fill.  For those of you that know, the opposite is actually true.  I am actually the only representation of the fairer sex in this household full of testosterone.

Now don't get me wrong..I wouldn't have it any other way.  But the truth of the matter is that the "boys" are at the age where cutesy doesn't cut it and crochet patterns lend themselves to items that the chickies would much prefer.  I am constantly on the hunt for items to make for my men and others, but inspiration is few and far between.  Still working on that.

In the meantime, the boys are begrudgingly acting as my fit models and wow are they pretty!  There is, of course, a bit of bribery involved...they get to taste cake recipes in return.

Here is a pattern that I have been trying to get posted for awhile.  I love it.  Girls' cami embellished with crochet border and flowers.  This one is size medium, which will fit size 8.  Check out pricing page for a size chart.  I have two other designs, which are just a little different in terms of the types and quantity of flowers.  Until I get samples posted, I am happy to describe through email chat if anyone is interested.  Colors are also of your chosing (see photo) to statisfy the "particular taste" of the sugar and spice in your life.

Until next time!
