OH, THE PLACES YOU'LL GO!

'Tis the season for youngsters and not so young-sters to say goodbye to their halls of learning and embark on the next adventure that life holds for them.  Such an exciting, gut wrenching, victorious time!

I have been asked to provide sweets for several graduation events over the course of this month and next and am honored to play a part in the celebrations.

Last week, I made a special cake for a very accomplished young man who has just completed medical school.  His Mother is a dedicated Instructional Aide at my kids' school and she beams with pride when talking about him.  These are the moments for which we, as parents, live.  Congratulations, Dr. Smith!!

Choco-Mocha cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, covered and detailed in fondant.

Coming up in a few weeks...Ninjago cake!

Congratulations to all graduates and families of graduates.  Oh, the places you'll go!

Confectionately yours!

A GRATEFUL HEART

Hi all,
It's been a little over a year since I started this venture of mine.  I have been looking through pictures of past projects and reading emails from the wonderful people who have allowed to me to be a part of their special occasions. I am so grateful for all of the opportunities to provide baked goods and gifts for you and your loved ones.

Here is some feedback from some of my amazing customers:

"The cake was so good, the little ones ate the whole piece..not just the icing!"

"The girls were eating cakepops in the middle of the night...9 girls = all 36 cakepops gone by morning!"

"The cake was a huge success and a wonderful surprise. The cathedral looked exactly like the painting you sent and the cake itself was delicious, moist and not too sweet."

"The men in our family love your cake and it has become a staple for leftovers after our events. It's obvious you love doing this. Your talents, time and creations of love are greatly appreciated."

"The cake was DEEELICIOUS and a big hit! The next occasion, you will definitely hear from me!!"

I have worked very hard to learn the traditional and not-so-traditional techniques involved in cakery and am very proud of my creations. I take great pride in treating every project with the greatest care so that the end result will be both beautiful and delicious.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be a part of your celebrations.

Speaking of wonderful people, a friend and former co-worker recently asked me to surprise a young brother and sister with some cupcakes. She wanted to customize them with the kids' favorite things...daisies for the girl and fighter jets for the boy. I think they turned out great!

Confectionately yours!
